Calling all Harwell residents; the Harwell Feast is an annual event which is visited by thousands of people. In order to continue the success of the event we need volunteers who can pledge just 1 hour either in the days leading up to the Feast, or on Feast Day itself (29 May).
On the day there will be many attractions to appeal to all age groups. In addition the Feast Committee offer a BBQ and Pig Roast – plus value for money refreshments, including tea, coffee and soft drinks, filled rolls and cakes – in the Pavilion.
This year the living history event will be provided by the British Plate Armour Society who will be pleased to welcome visitors from 2pm on Sunday 28th May. The Society will then take part in the parade through the village and battles in the main arena on Feast Day itself.
Enquiries from those wishing to find out more about the Harwell Feast should be sent in the first instance to Sharon Palmer of the Harwell Feast Committee.
